Write for us
Rural Mindful Living welcomes clear, original pitches about attention, reflection and the textures of rural days. Send proposals through the Contact page; a concise outline is more helpful than a finished manuscript.
What fits
We are interested in evergreen pieces that help readers notice, reflect or shape a small practice around the life already at hand. A pitch might explain an idea, compare two approaches, examine a custom or offer a thoughtful way into a particular moment. Keep the focus specific and the tone patient.
What to include
Briefly set out the subject, the central idea, why it matters to this publication and how the piece would unfold. Mention any sources or expertise the proposed subject would require. We do not accept unsupported health claims, promotional copy disguised as editorial, or pitches that depend on invented experience.
How to propose an idea
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send your proposal. Please include your name, a way to reply and a short description of the piece. Sending an idea does not guarantee publication; we will consider whether it fits the publication and its readers.
Attention begins where you are
Mindful living need not take place in silence or follow a fixed routine. It can begin by noticing what is already here.
